      The American Plumber DW-200-R Retrofit Carbon Filter for the Aqua-Pure AP217 will fit the Aqua-Pure AP-200 filter housing. It will reduce sediment down to 5 microns in size and reduce chlorine, taste and odor to improve the quality of your drinking water. To keep your system in top working order you should replace your filter cartridge every 4 to 6 months.

      • Manufactured from FDA CFR-21 compliant materials
      • Compatible with Aqua-Pure AP200, AP217 and Purwater PW-200

      NOTE: Aqua Pure has not changed the threads on the head for the AP200 housing since 1979. If your filter head is older than 1979 it will not work with current replacement filters such as the American Plumber DW-200R and AP217. Pre-1979 heads will have the mounting bracket molded to the head as one piece. Post-1979 heads will have the mounting bracket attatched to the top of the head with screws.
