Worried about making a return? Don't be! At eFilterWater we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our 365 Day No Hassle No Restocking Fee Return policy ensures that you can return a product for any reason (we do ask that the product is returned in its original condition). Most companies charge a 15% or more restocking fee. We think that is wrong.
Prior to returning an item, please contact our customer service team at email@example.com or call our toll free number at 1-800-779-1340 and allow us to resolve your issue. Often we can resolve your concern over the phone or via e-mail and a return is unnecessary. In the event that you do need to return or exchange an item, it can be done as long as the item is in new and unused condition and inside its original packaging with all original parts and documents. All items properly returned under this policy are eligible for a full refund** and our representatives will make sure the process is as easy as possible. Please understand that we cannot take back filters whose plastic wrapping has been broken, as it is illegal to resell such items.
Please be aware that returns of Water Coolers must be authorized by the manufacturer so it will take longer for us to arrange for this.
Our easy 4 step return/refund process:
- Email our returns department at firstname.lastname@example.org. Providing us as much detail as possible on your return will help us be more expedient in processing your request.
- Within one business day, we will respond with instructions on how to proceed including the Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA).
- When we receive the item, we will inspect it and issue refund** or replacement depending on the condition it is received back in and your instructions.
- Please allow up to 30 days for a refund to be processed.
In our reply, eFilterWater will provide the necessary Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA#), which is required to return or exchange your purchase. Also included will be return shipping information. If the item being returned has a manufacturer defect, a replacement will be free of charge.
Damaged Units: Please inspect the unit thoroughly. Even though the box looks damaged, the unit may be in good working order. If damaged upon inspection, please refuse the shipping and either call us to start the replacement process or fill out the return form stating the item was damaged and a new one needs to be sent. We will arrange to have the damaged unit picked up and have a new unit shipped as quickly as possible. eFilterWater will not be liable for returns that do not follow the process indicated above.
Any units received back for which no RMA# has been issued, will be returned to you at your expense.

**All actual shipping & handling charges will be deducted from any refunds (excluding damages & defective products) that received a free shipping discount at the time of purchase. Also, if you purchased a system and ran water through it, we cannot refund the cost of the filters since they cannot be resold, but we will refund you the cost of the system itself less applicable shipping per above. Return shipping is the responsibility of the purchaser with the exception of freight damaged items or defective products. We recommend an appropriate amount of insurance be purchased for your return in case it is damaged in shipment back to us. If we receive back your return damaged, we will not be able to refund your money.
The above Return Policy also applies to exchanges. We will apply the payment for your first order, minus original shipping and handling costs, to your second order as long as the second order is of equal or greater value. Note: The original order item(s) must be returned to us first.
Cancelled Orders Policy
We ship most orders the same day or within one business day. If you decide to cancel your order and contact us before it ships, you may cancel it with no additional cost to you. If, however, your order has already shipped, you may not cancel it. You can return it in accordance with the above Return Policy.
Refused Shipments or Incorrect Address Policy
If you refuse delivery or provide an undeliverable address as your ship to address and your order is returned to us, you will be credited for the purchase price less a 25% restock fee and original cost of shipping (even if order was processed with promotional shipping rate). Alternatively, you may pay to reship your order after providing updates to your ship to address. Note: Refund will not be available if the order was a special or custom order.
Special Order Items Policy
Special order items are not returnable for any reason other than freight damage or defective product.
Under no circumstances will eFilterWater be financially responsible to cover the cost of water damage resulting from the improper installation (per our website instructions, manufacturer installation manuals, service guides, product guides and related manufacturer website pages), improper handling, neglect, not replacing filters according to recommended maintenance schedules, improper set up, lack of rigorously insuring there are no leaks, or any other cause of water damage or product malfunction. No exceptions. Any such claims should be taken up directly with the manufacturer of your product.
